The streets of New York display a wide array of torn, faded advertising, posters, graffiti and other art. Occasionally, one finds imaginative and sometimes randomly juxtaposed images similar to a collage.
“Torn Beauty”, my June homepage photograph, captured my eye for its ripped sensuality. These “artifacts”, as I call them, sometimes hide layers of visual expression that only reveal themselves with the passage of time.
